The previously unknown Timmy Wilson recorded ‘Long Ways To Go’, a terrific R&B groove, in Columbus, Ohio in 1965. This first vinyl release following the track’s debut on our recent “Modernists” CD is assured club plays from eager mod and R&B DJs.

The vocalist on ‘Chained Am I’ was unknown until some astute detective work revealed it to be Ansler Montell, who wrote the song with Johnny Northern and J.R. Bailey. Recorded for New York label Arock, this is its first issue.
